Stepping into the unknown

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him he shall direct thy path…. proverbs 3:5

Hello my lovelies💋. Welcome to another doze of of motivation Monday to help you get through this week.

Stepping into the unknown….what a topic right? This is year this was one of my major resolution and i am proud to say that i have actually nailed it pretty well. Stepping into the unknown for me is basically letting your trust for God to be without any borders and actualy doing what God has called you to do no matter how hard ot unrealistic it can be.

You see it is human nature for one to want to know the details of the future, to have some form of control of what will happen. But it is very hard to just step into the unknown, because in the unknown you are vulnerable and you have no experience or exposure for anything. However when you let God guide you and you trust him and acknowledge him in all your ways without relaying on your own understanding all your ways are going to be great.

Stepping into the unknown could be starting your own business, building your home, doing that project you keep postponing or taking part in that competition you do not feel qualified to partake. It will all turn out great if you just let God direct you and you obey and trust him. He will do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond your expectations. Come on! Just trust him!!!

I am a law student and for the longest time ever i have been evading mooting because i felt that it is hard and very tasking. I could not miss an excuse for not taking part in any moot court competition. Last week i dared to step into the unknown and mooted.

At first, i felt as if the odds were against me, the compromee was sent three days to the day of the competition there was not much time to research, I had no experience, nada training and i was going against guys who learnt mooting as a unit in law, they had top notch experience not to mention practice and there i was. Believe me when i say that i not only performed well but i exceeded my expectations, all the judges had positive and encouraging feedbacks and i really enjoyed the whole process. I admit, i did not do it on my own strength but Jesus guided me through it all you know? Appearing before the International Court of Justice judges is tough and i am so grateful.

This is a picture of my twin and I at the venue on that day😄. We were partners, i was the lead agent and she was the co agent❤

With this experience i encourage you to just trust Jesus Christ and dare to step into the unknown, if he can do it for i am sure he will do it for you.

I hope i inspired someone to get out of their comfort zone and strech. Thank you and i love you to the moon and back for reading this, do not forget to like comment and share this post.

Love Mimo.
