And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
~ Luke 22:31-32
Long before the enemy comes with temptation or attacks, Jesus has prayed for you. That is what He is doing at the Father’s right hand. He prays that our faith does not fail when we are tested. Faith is our eyes on Jesus Christ. Even before we go through any trial or when our faith is tested, Jesus already prophesies our return and victory.
Don’t you just love Him, Oh what gracious gift Abba Father gave to us. And when we return to Him strengthen your brethren. This means that He will use your experience, your scars to help others going through similar situations. You will be a source of encouragement and help to others. You will be a blessing to others through your experience.
Even before we go through any trial or when our faith is tested, Jesus has prayed that our faith does not fail and He also prophesies our return to Him and victory.
So take heart, hold on to your faith, let it not fail because through your experience, someone else will be strengthened and blessed. You will be a pillar in the body of Christ for the glory of God. Through your trials, remember you are never alone. Hebrew 13:5 say I will never leave you nor forsake you. Always be conscious of His presence in your life, knowing that His grace is sufficient to us and His power is made perfect in our weakness and Daddy God makes all things (bad or good) work together for our good.
Most people when they are faced with hard and trying times their pray is that God should deliver them out of the trouble, sometimes God lets us go through those hard times for His glory. To enable us to help strengthen and encourage others going through similar situations.
As I end this post, I just want to remind you of your identity: You are a beloved child of God♡. Abba Father did not spare His very own Son for You (1John 4:10). You are deeply loved, greatly blessed and highly favoured by Daddy God.
